Jamie Meyer is an illustrator with over 20 years of experience in the commercial creative industry. Throughout his childhood Jamie was surrounded by art and has been drawing since he was a boy. Both his father and sister are successful painters and his father has been an influence on the approach to the creative concept and production of his work.

Jamie’s career has seen him do work for agencies and clients in Johannesburg, Cape Town and London (where he spent 11 rain soaked years). The early part of his career saw him work in the digital creative industry with him later expanding into the broader sphere of advertising. Never losing his first love for drawing and illustration, he then became a full time freelance illustrator.

He lives in Cape Town with his wife, daughter and his 2 dogs Zizou and Frankie.
